Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer

Maybelline has come out with a new concealer called Instant Age Rewind. It claims to be a concealer and dark spot treatment over time as it contains Vitamin C. It is also supposed to treat acne scars, sunspots and signs of aging.

 

After using Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer for weeks (it claims to work in 4 weeks), I really haven't noticed a difference with this one sunspot that I have on my cheek. It does not seem lighter at all. So that's somewhat disappointing. I was looking forward to a mutli-tasking product. It does a decent job of concealing the sunspot but it just isn't making it any lighter.

 

I like the product as a concealer, though. The color matches my skin perfectly and does a good job of concealing my dark circles. The applicator is a little tricky to get started, you have to keep clicking several times before any product starts coming out. Eventually, though, it started working. A little too much product comes out so I dab it on the area and then use my finger to blend it.

Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer is worth buying if you're looking for a good concealer with a somewhat easy to use applicator. You don't have to carry a concealer brush or anything. However, if you're hoping it works on any sunspot discoloration, I don't think you'll be happy with the results. I will keep using it as a concealer.

It comes with a snap-in-place Air Buff Brush that helps you create buildable coverage or you can just use whatever you prefer to apply it to your face.

I think this is one amazing compact. The texture is spongey and light, It goes on beautifully. The makeup contains Rose Fruit which is supposed to make your pores smaller and I did notice a difference. It also has Star Fruit Leaf to moisturize your skin and Rose Myrtle to repair and prevent UV damage. I love anything that contains SPF so that I don't have to apply that separately, because I will usually skip that extra step when I'm in a hurry.

All in all, great product to try for a beautiful finish or if you're looking for something that is good for your skin and can save you some time getting ready in the morning.

Smashbox Studio Pop Eye Palette

Smashbox has come out with another great eye shadow palette called Studio Pop. It consists of 16 vibrant colors and 4 creamy eyeliners. This palette comes with 4 cards to help you create 4 different looks, which is great if you're not that creative with mixing colors. If you are, great, you have plenty of colors to work with.

I really love the more neutral colors in this palette, very beautiful. But all of the colors are beautiful as well. The eyeliners are great too. I especially love the bronze and black one that has different colors of glitter in it. All in all, its a great palette and great quality.
